This is sweet, gentle Snowy, an adorable older gentleman donkey that I fell in love with on my visit to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary.  Snowy has passed on since I painted this, but I want to keep his memory alive. I create gifts that give back because all animals deserve love! Read more about Snowy below.

Snowy was a lovely gentle white donkey who was super enchanting. Completely white donkeys are rare which made Snowy even more special.  He tended to eat a bit more slowly than the other donkeys at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, so he ate in his own stall so Jimbob wouldn’t try to finish his food. I loved walking by the barn and seeing him poke his head out to politely let us know he was done and ready to go back to his friends when we had a minute to open the door for him. Snowy passed away recently and is greatly missed by all of his friends.
